Founded in November 2005, Lovely Disabled Home is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation providing job opportunities to the physically and mentally challenged individuals who are 18-year-old and above. We believe everyone, including the special needs, has their own values in life. They can have stable employment if they are given opportunities and proper training.

Unsure about what to do with clothing you haven't worn in a long time? Keeping them takes up space, but throwing them away seems wasteful. Why not let Lovely Disabled Home take care of it! You're welcome to donate your unwanted clothes to Lovely Disabled Home. These clothes will be sold at our flea market, and the proceeds will go towards covering the daily expenses of Lovely Disabled Home's recycle centre. To maintain the quality of the clothing we distribute, we kindly request that you launder the clothes before donating them. Please be aware that we can only accept clothes that are in good condition. We are unable to accept items that are wet, damaged, or soiled. Thank you for your understanding. If you wish to donate the clothes you no longer wear, kindly get in touch with the Lovely Disabled Home office at 03-76139439 or the recycle hotline at 013-3876878 for a pick-up service. How do you deal with your preloved (second-hand) items? Lovely Disabled Home operates a Flea Market and the proceeds are used for our operations, which help our workshop members to maintain their jobs. If you have any preloved items that you would like to donate, please contact our Recycle Hotline at 013-3876878 to arrange for collection at your time and convenience. What’s a great way to say Hello to the second half of 2020? Let’s make a difference, come join us in Run for a Chance 2020 (Virtual Charity Run)! Lovely Disabled Home will be organizing virtual charity run “Run for A Chance 2020” from 31 August to 16 September 2020. The main objective of this charity run:- • To raise RM200,000 for the Home’s operational costs for the year 2021. • To create public awareness on Persons with Disability (PWD) – We want to be inclusive, and encourage them to have an active lifestyle, and be able to socialise with able-bodied friends and family. • To promote LDH socks - A product exclusively packed and delivered by the Home’s own members with disability. It is a mission of Lovely Disabled Home to provide them the opportunity to work. HOW does it work? 1. Register before 30/08/2020 (*FREE LDH Running Socks for first 1,000 registrants) Registration Fee: RM50 (OKU: RM25) 2. Run ANYTIME, ANYWHERE! ( Running period : 31/08/2020 to 16/09/2020) 3. Upload your result before 19/09/2020 4. Entitlements will be sent out on 01/10/2020 onward This year, we are targeting 8,000 participants to join in this event, with both PWD and able bodied participants from Malaysia or even worldwide. Also, in order to encourage them to participate and be active, the PWD is entitled to participate in the run with a minimal registration fee.
